YOUR APP IS GOOD.
YOUR LISTING HIDES IT.

A merchant decides whether they get your app in about 8 seconds. Miss that window and they install a worse competitor. You never find out why.

I help Shopify app founders win those 8 seconds. Positioning, listing, pricing, the words a merchant reads before they decide. 100+ app listings audited and counting.

Founders, in their words.

The same four problems, over and over.

I've read 100+ listings now. Different apps, different categories, same four mistakes. See if any of these sound familiar.

Your listing talks to everyone.

So it lands with nobody. When your copy tries to fit every store, no single merchant reads it and thinks "this was built for me." And that thought is the whole game.

Your screenshots sell features.

"Advanced analytics dashboard." That's the caption on your first screenshot. A merchant reads it and thinks: okay, but what does it do for my store?

Now compare it to "See which products to restock before you run out." One describes the software. The other describes a problem they have right now.

Your pricing creates hesitation.

Too many tiers. Limits nobody can find. Models that punish the merchants you most want to keep. When pricing is hard to read, a founder thinks it looks thorough. A merchant just thinks: I don't get it, next.

You're invisible to the algorithms.

When did you last check how merchants actually find your app? Most installs start with App Store search. And now AI tools like Sidekick read listings and recommend apps too.

So your copy has three readers: the merchant scanning it, Shopify's search ranking it, and an AI deciding whether to suggest it. Most listings barely satisfy one.

The App Store captures demand. It doesn't create it. So before you pour more budget into ads, fix the listing they land on.

How I work.

I start with positioning. Not ads, not campaigns, not keywords. Positioning. Because if a merchant doesn't understand why they need your app over the next one in the list, nothing downstream matters. PLG is a phase you grow out of, not a strategy you keep.

In the vibe-coding era, anyone ships an app in a weekend, feature sets all converge, and half the listings out there were written by the same handful of AI models. Positioning is the one moat left.

You're too close to fix this yourself. You've stared at your app for months, so you can't see what a merchant sees in 8 seconds. I can. I spent about three years as Head of Growth and Partnerships at ReConvert, scaling it from startup to 40,000+ users, and I've audited 100+ listings since. Before Shopify I was a marine scientist running environmental monitoring for Haifa's new seaport, so reading messy data and telling you what it actually says is the job I've always had.

You work directly with me. No account managers, no junior team handing you a template. I read your ad data, your search-terms reports, your reviews, and the language your competitors use, then I tell you what to change based on what the data says, not on what I think sounds nicer.

I won't tell you to "improve your listing." I'll show you exactly which parts are broken and what to fix first.

What working together looks like

First, we find what's broken.

Every engagement starts here. I go through your positioning, listing, keywords, and ad data. Not a surface skim. I've read 100+ of these, so I know where the gaps usually hide.

You get a straight diagnosis: what's working, what isn't, and what to fix first.

Then we fix it.

Positioning strategy. Listing rewrite. Pricing restructure. A keyword plan that matches how merchants actually search.

You walk away with work you can publish this week, not a deck that sits in a drawer.

Then we keep going, if you want.

Some founders want a senior strategist in the room week after week, not a one-off project. Weekly calls, async support, and a hand on the actual work.

I do the work alongside you. You don't leave a call with homework.

Shopify app growth, every week

Positioning, listings, pricing, and the patterns I keep finding across 100+ audits. If you're building on the Shopify App Store, it's worth the inbox space.

Want a second pair of eyes?

Tell me what you're building and where it's stuck. On the call I'll point at the part of your listing I'd fix first. No fit, no pitch.
